Musée de l’Histoire et des Traditions :
Discover Bellevaux past and present through documents, historical costumes and everyday objects from days gone by.
Located next to the Tourist Office, the museum is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Also open for theme evenings in July and August, 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Admission : adults 3 €, children (4 to 16 years) 2 € ; Groups (guided tours, 10 people minimum): adults 2.50 €, children 1.50 €
Groups welcome all year with advanced booking.
Annual closure: October to December except school holidays.
Nordic Park and its sled dogs :
A paper chase will reveal what the dogs do, how the pack lives and what breeds the dogs are. Of course, you can also brush and pat them. Open Wednesdays in July and August.

Paysalp
Just 100 metres from the Rural Life Museum in Viuz en Sallaz, the Paysalp museum has a new exhibition on local cooking called “Les pieds dans le plat... de la cuisine savoyarde”.
600 sq. m. of exhibition space devoted to different aspects of Savoy cuisine.

Rural Life Museum
The Rural Life Museum of Viuz-en-Sallaz offers a very beautiful testimony on rural life of 200 years ago. Real time machine, the museum will allows you to enter in the intimacy of the Savoyard peasant visiting his farm, his mountain chalet.You can also walk through a village with shops where craftsmen still ply the old trades. As a final touch, visitors get the chance to sit on a ‘Jules Ferry’ school bench. Don’t miss this journey back in time – it’s a marvellous way to find out about country life in the ‘old days’. Children have a fact-finding quiz to keep them interested.
